Pavilion at Gowen Park Picnic Area
This picnic shelter is a beautiful setting for family events, birthday parties, weddings and all kinds of social activities. Many couples are requesting use of this facility for their weddings...to be married under the large and very beautiful oak tree. 

Cancellations must be made prior to 30 days of the weekend/holiday event for a refund.  Cancellations must be made prior to 14 days of a midweek event, not holiday, for a refund.

THIS PARK IS A CARRY-IN, CARRY-OUT LOCATION.  IF YOU WANT GARBAGE CANS YOU MUST BRING YOUR OWN, THANK YOU.

To google this facility use 741 Main Street, Sanford. Gowen Park Drive is off of Main Street.  This facility has access to electricity and comfortably seats 25.

Note: The Gazebo on Main Street is a separate facility and must be rented separately.

Disc Golf @ Gowen Park Picnic Area
Rental of equipment available through our Recreation office. $10.00 deposit and your deposit will be returned when equipment is returned to our office.

Liability Insurance Requirements
For organizations, including churches and non-profits, a certificate of liability insurance is required in order to reserve a city facility.

TENTS
NO TENTS PERMITTED WITHOUT THE WRITTEN PERMISSION FROM THE DEPARTMENT OF RECREATION AND PUBLIC PROPERTY.

Fee Schedule
Residents: $25 per hour; max charge of $125 for 5+ hours
Non-Residents: $50 per hour

NOTE: Gazebo on Main Street by Gowen Park Drive is an independent facility and must be reserved separately.
