The goal of this summer program is fun and striving for individual improvement throughout the year!  Run, jump and throw with Sanford Parks and Rec!  Practices will focus on racing, training and demonstrating sportsmanship.  There is only one meet in mid July.    TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED
This program is for youth 7-14 years of age.  Born from 2008-2013

Practices are Monday and Wednesday Eves from 6pm-7:30pm
Starting the Week of June 7
Youth may participate in the Track Meet scheduled for mid July - see regist form below

Coach Nate Smith (Coach Smitty - Sanford High School Coach) is heading up our program this year.

Location:  Cobb Stadium (behind old Jr High)  or Alumni Stadium (at new High School)
 
SOUTHERN MAINE REGIONAL MEET
Date: Thursday, July 15, 2021
Location: South Portland High School
Time: 10:00 am

(If you qualify at the Southern Maine Regional Meet for the State Meet, please see below for location and time of event)  Qualifiers are the top 4 contenders for each category - Please see the results under links and forms below.  Please let us know if you are not going to attend if you are one of the top 4.  Call 324-9130.
 
 
2021  PINE TREE STATE TRACK & FIELD GAMES STATE MEET
Date: Monday, July 19, 2021
Location:  Brewer High School Track
Time:  10:30 am parade of athletes/11:00 am competition begins

The State Meet will begin with a parade of athletes at 10:30 am.  The throwing events will begin at 11:00 am followed by the running events.
