Green House Visit with Bud Johnston - Friday April 12 - Cancelled
Get a jump on planting a tray of your favorite flowers or veggies - they will remain in the greenhouse till later in the spring when you can stop by and pick them up.  Bud has a passion for plants and he is willing to share his knowledge.  He will enlighten us with his years of experience and will give us some tricks and tips for gardening.   We will meet at Springvale Nurseries greenhouse - across the street from Bonanza.  Meet at 10am, bring $5 to cover cost and bring a chair.  Call the Rec office by thurs. April 11th to Register - 324-9130.  Bring your coffee, we'll bring a snack...

Oxford Casino - April 19 - Cancelled
Meet at the Springvale Recreation Area on route 109 in Springvale Maine.  We will get a lesson on casting before we attempt to catch a fish or two.  Cost is $13/70 yrs and older -which $8 goes to life time ME license and $16/69 and under -which includes a 1 day license .  If you carry a ME Fishing License your cost for this clinic is $5.  (pack a lunch if staying to fish for the day)     Date: Fri. April 26           Time: 10am-12:30pm                Cost: $5-$16

Fryeburg's Home and Garden Flower Show - May 15
Join us as we travel to Fryeburg for the day to enjoy this home/garden show.  Leave Sanford at 9:30am and return back to Sanford by 4pm.  Admission into fair grounds for day is $10 - pay at gate.  Cost for transportation is just $5.  Call 324-9130 by Wednesday May 13 to register.  Space for 11 guests.

Duck Tour of Portland ME - May 29 tickets limited, please call 324-9130
Join us for this adventure in Portland ME - cost is $35.  Includes tour and transp.  Van leaves Sanford at 9am.  Approx return time 3pm.  Enjoy an hour or two of browsing or shopping in the Old Port
Date: May 29     Leave Sanford at 9am      Return back to Sanford at 3pm    Cost: $35
