TNT - Tues. Night Tennis

This program is to help teach kids how to have fun with the game of tennis.  Coaches Shawn Guinard and Mike Jean have been playing the game of tennis for over 80 years combined.


Cost is only $1 for each Tuesday eve that you drop off the kids.  Play starts on Tuesday, June 21 and runs through Tuesday, Aug 9. 

Play is: 5:00-5:45pm for kids 6-8 years old (working on forehand and backhand)

Play is: 5:45-7:00pm for kids 9-12 years old.  (first half is drills, then 45 minutes of match play and then learning how to keep score and play points)

Tennis
  • Sign your children in when dropping them off at the Gowen Park Tennis Courts- be sure to leave an emergency phone number each time.
  • Bring a racket if you have one that you like - if you don't have one, don't worry, we have plenty for you to use.
  • Bring a water bottle.
  • Wear comfy clothing and shoes for running around.
  • Use your potty at home before leaving - port-a-john is a little bit of a walk.
