Springvale Recreation Area
Swimming/Volleyball/Horseshoes/Picnic Recreational swimming: The community swimming area located on Rte. 109 in Springvale (Holdsworth Park / Springvale Recreation Area) has specific hours scheduled during the summer to provide our residents supervised lifeguarded swimming. NO FLOATATION DEVICES ALLOWED EXCEPT COAST GUARD APPROVED FLOTATION DEVICES DURING LIFEGUARDED SWIM within Shallow ropes.
This area is also available for picnics as well as other recreational needs - go to "facility reservations" to reserve a date and time. Acres of tree free area allow for ball games along with horseshoe pits and a sand volleyball court. If you would like to reserve a picnic shelter for a group outing please go to facility reservations (a minimal fee will be incurred).

Bussing from Area Playgrounds available
Free transportation is offered to Parents and their children to the Springvale Recreation Area on Tues. and Thurs. (June 25-Aug13).

From Carpentier Playground (located on High St) @ approx. 11:55am
From Benton Playground (located on Roberts St) @ approx. 12 noon
From Springvale Playground (located on Johns St) @ approx. 12:20pm

Return time to playgrounds is between 4-4:30.
